Understanding the Message
I missed Jasika’s exit from Twitter, but her message here on Tumblr is (to me) an awesome one. I’m sure each of us will see something different in it that may or may not touch us in some way.
For me, it is the importance of self and the realization that we are all human and that we all make mistakes and it is SO IMPORTANT that we KNOW IT’S OK.
Trying to live up to perfection can only bring ones self esteem lower because it is an unachievable task. We are not perfect and if someone expects you to be perfect then that someone will be forever disappointed. That’s their choice.
The danger lies in our own beliefs
